Yamaha Motor UK has announced a pair of new partnerships as the firm expands its domestic distribution network.

Marine broker Yachts.Co International will offer the company’s full outboard range on boats purchased the firm’s dealerships, including locations in Swansea and Poole, and stock Yamaha outboards from 2.5 horsepower portable models to the company’s flagship 450 XTO.

“Everyone at Yachts.Co International is excited to join Yamaha Motor UK’s extensive marine dealer network,” said team leader, Jamie Tibbot. “Renowned for high-quality, we’re excited that our valued customer base will get to experience Yamaha outboards.”

Yamaha also announced a new partnership with Island RIBS, located on the Isle of Wight. Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, the firm designs and builds custom RIBs at its Cowes workshop.

“It is an exciting time for Island RIBS, as we celebrate a decade of designing and building RIBs this year,” said managing director, Alex Cottle. “We are thrilled to have partnered with Yamaha Motor UK and look forward to introducing our customers to its range of powerful outboards.”

Yamaha Motor UK manager of marine sales Jonny Twelvetrees added “We are thrilled to expand our UK dealer network with the addition of Yachts.Co International and Island RIBS, which will allow us to serve a wide and loyal customer base, strengthening our position in the marketplace.”
