Shanghai Association of Shipbuilding Industry

As the leading boat association located in Shanghai, the most metropolitan city in China, Shanghai Association of Shipbuilding Industry (CSASI) aims at organizing activities in and near Shanghai. Established in 1993, the association now has 123 members including most enterprises and institutions in Shanghai or nearby areas engaged in research, design, manufacture, repair, trade and teaching related to ships and supporting facilities. With the spirit of serving the government, industry and its members, the association actively promotes recreational boat industry development in China, constantly develops and deepens the services, and acts as a bridge to improve the communication between the government and the members, manufacturers, customers and research institutions, Chinese enterprises and foreign counterparts.

Founded in 1973, Shanghai Science and Technology Exchange Center (SSTEC) is a non-profit organization affiliated to Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality(STCSM). SSTEC is contributing to enhance the development of science and technology, economy, and society of Shanghai. All kinds of exchange and cooperation have been launched by SSTEC to stimulate the friendship with foreign counties, regions, organizations, universities and industries.
