Benetti launches latest Oasis 40M superyacht

Italian superyacht builder Benetti held the launch of the Oasis 40M BO116 at its Livorno shipyard last week. Built for a Canadian owner, the superyacht reflects the original design of the Oasis 40M, with exteriors by RWD and interiors by Bonetti/Kozerski Architecture.

The BO116 is the latest unit in Benetti’s Oasis 40M series

The main focus in the design of this new Benetti yacht was on achieving a high level of onboard wellbeing. Thanks to the Oasis Deck, which transforms the beach area into a sea-view terrace, the BO116 is an invitation to cruise in close contact with nature. On the Main Deck, the classic gym area has been transformed into a wellness cabin, while the large shower in the owner’s suite can become a Turkish bath.

For even more wellbeing and conviviality, the owner asked the shipyard to incorporate a customised lighting system with party lights into the Sun Deck, complete with a DJ console, thus ensuring maximum entertainment.

The interiors are bathed in natural light, thanks to the extensive glazing on all decks. A feature of BO116, one that could already be found on certain previous units and was a priority for this owner, was the replacement of the Main Deck dining area with a lounge space featuring an elegant Onice marble bar unit with back-lighting.

The BO116’s five cabins can accommodate up to 12 guests and, with two MAN V12-1400 engines, she has a cruising speed of 11kt and a top speed of 17kt. One of the yacht’s most important technical features is the Selective Catalyst Reduction (SCR) system in line with IMO Tier III exhaust gas emissions regulations. The BO116 is also fully compliant with the relevant standards for commercial use.

The BO116 is scheduled to be delivered to her owner in spring 2024.
