Finnish builder introduces sixth model in new design range
Modern Nordic design: the 5m Yamarin 50 BR
Finland’s Yamarin Boats, owned by Yamaha, has launched a new 5m bow rider. With modern Nordic design, the Yamarin 50 BR is made for archipelago commuting as well as watersports or plain cruising.
This is the sixth model in a new range of Yamarin designs, the style and functionality recognisable from its larger sister models but in a more compact package. It gives good wind protection for passengers, excellent handling and convenient storage space.
The boat, which will be built in Poland, has a brand-new hull design with practical open space. It´s built for a 40hp-60hp outboard engine, where the largest alternative gives a top speed of 30kt. Economical cruising speed is 22kt, giving the boat a range of approximately 120Nm on a single fuel tank.
The open space is practical and safe: the large and uncluttered step surfaces making it easy to board the boat and move around inside. The optional Softdeck non-slip floor surface enhances safety and looks, as do the sturdy black railings around the protective windshield.
The Yamarin 50 BR comes standard with a 64-litre fixed fuel tank that eliminates the need for a removable fuel tank, thereby maximising the storage space beneath the rear sofa. Additional storage space can be found under the bow seats.
