Following the recent news that its flagship yacht, the 74-metre Amer 74, has been moved to outfitting, Italian shipyard Amer Yachts has announced that the 49.5-metre Amer 499 yacht, hull 499/11, will also now begin outfitting works.
According to 2026CIBS, the superyacht entered construction in December 2023. The steel and aluminium new build is the result of a collaboration between Amer Yachts and designer Antonio Luxardo. Delivery is expected in 2026.

The yacht is defined by a “balance between form and function”, according to the shipyard, and features signature elements from Amer’s Steel range, including a vertical bow, an elongated hull and a superstructure defined by an inverted glass wheelhouse. The result is a bold, sporty and highly contemporary profile.
Model highlights include a beach club with an opening flush-deck and a near 18-metre-long sundeck with a bow jacuzzi and “sunbathing zone” and an al fresco dining space sheltered by a roll bar with an opening hard top. On the main deck aft, guests can enjoy a broad cockpit with a large sunbed and inviting lounge area, while forward, a pool surrounded by sunpads offers a serene and private retreat.

Inside, living spaces are filled with light, with the two onboard saloons distinguished by a number of full-height glazed surfaces with glass railings – designed to offer a single, open experience of space. Accommodation also follows suit, with guest cabins featuring large hull windows for an abundance of natural light.
