MXG Yachts, formerly Sanlorenzo Spain, has signed a strategic agreement with Bates Wharf Marine Sales/Azimut UK to cater to the needs of British Azimut clients in Spain and the Balearic IslandsShow Fullscreen

Bates Wharf is a family-owned business that has been collaborating with Azimut for the last seven years. Thanks to a well-established client base in the UK, the company is said to have greatly assisted Azimut in responding to the needs of the British market.

Bates Wharf operates from four locations – Chertsey, London on the River Thames, Sovereign Harbour in Eastbourne, plus Southampton and Poole on the UK’s south coast. The Chertsey office acts as the company’s headquarters with a large indoor showroom and 100-berth marina.

MXG Yachts is headed by founders Andy McDougall of Mediterranean Yachts (Puerto Portals, Mallorca) and Alan Gulliver of Pier Zero Yachts (Puerto Banus, Marbella), and boasts over 37 years’ experience in luxury new yacht sales, brokerage and aftersales service.

Following 10 years representing the Sanlorenzo brand in Spain and the Balearic Islands, MXG Yachts now represents Azimut UK as well as the Anvera and HCB shipyards on an exclusive basis.

MXG Yachts and Azimut UK/Bates Wharf will be showcasing the latest  additions to the Azimut fleet at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival and Southampton International Boat Show.
