Turkey is now a global hotspot for superyacht design, and one of the yacht manufacturers has found a way to incorporate the features of those large yachts into smaller hulls. The Mazu 82 yacht, built by Mazu Yachts, is a very new design that is now shining at sea, a striking look that is the result of cutting-edge technology and modern style.

Its carbon-composite hull is very strong above water, laying the foundation for deckhouses built with glass, some of which are bullet-proof. The 3,000-horsepower Volvo engine, retractable sunroof, sun-bathed interior and versatile deck space make it a yacht like no other.
The 25 metre (82 ft) long yacht is a true combination of muscular design and elaborate luxury configuration, in fact, power and performance are a central part of the 82 story, as it is powered by three Volvo Penta IPS engines combined with a lightweight, rigid carbon composite sandwich structure to ensure smooth cruising at speeds of up to 40 knots (74 km/h).

The exterior of the Mazu 82 yacht presents a clear tone, with the flat main deck without steps and the angular lines of the all-glass deckhouse. The flush main deck provides a solid base for a greenhouse-like deckhouse. Mazu worked to connect the deck and the roof of the ship with large pieces of glass, increasing the thickness of the glass where possible to cope with the pressure on the glass Windows at sea. It’s quite an engineering trick, as the windshield is made of 22 mm (0.9 in) laminated tempered glass and PVB laminated, making it truly bulletproof and exceptionally clear to view, while eliminating deformation and glare issues.
