WiLder 60, Wider’s new custom yacht combining performance and luxury

Italian shipyard Wider unveils the WiLder 60, an 18.90-meter yacht designed to deliver exceptional performance and personalized luxury. Built in aluminum, it combines superyacht features with supercar performance.

An all-aluminum model

In early 2023, Italian shipyard Wider Yacht, specialists in hybrid superyachts over 50 m, announced the launch of a new model, the WiLder 60. Finally launched, this 18.9 m yacht is fully customizable, and designed for “elite yachting”. The WiLder 60 stands out for its design, performance and custom fittings. The model is built in aluminum, guaranteeing optimum strength and stability at sea. Its hull, developed by Wider Engineering, is said to ensure smooth, silent sailing, reducing noise and vibration.

A mix of superyacht and supercar

The elegant, dynamic lines are enhanced by modern elements such as the angular wheelhouse and inverted bow. Elements reminiscent of the world of supercars include rear air intakes and a low, wide stern. Although its profile appears low to the water, the WiLder 60 offers ample space both inside and out.

The WiLder 60 offers vast outdoor spaces for enjoying the sea to the full. At the bow, a saloon with a large solarium invites you to relax, while at the stern, an open-air dining area and a second solarium offer convivial spaces for moments with friends or family.

Impressive speeds for a 60-foot model

In the center is the partially enclosed cockpit. Two MAN V8s, each delivering 1300 hp, are connected to surface propellers, giving her a top speed of 40 knots and a cruising speed of 35 knots, with a range of 240 miles. Bow and stern thrusters, a dynamic positioning system and two optional Quick MC2 X19 stabilizers make the WiLder 60 extremely maneuverable.

A 100% customizable interior

The interior has been designed by the in-house Wider Centro Stile team and can be configured according to the customer’s wishes. This first hull showcases the shipyard’s expertise in satisfying demanding owners. It features a spacious owner’s cabin forward with en-suite bathroom, two guest cabins aft, a saloon with designer galley and another bathroom. Depending on the owner’s wishes, the aft port cabin, for example, can be converted into a crew area.

Luxurious finishes

For the finish, the yard chose materials and details evocative of the world of luxury cars. Direct and indirect lighting are used to create a warm atmosphere, complemented by gloss lacquer and satin bronze inserts. Oak parquet flooring adds warmth to the whole. In the bathrooms, coffee-colored countertops contrast with lacquered partitions. The washbasin is in grey crystal and the faucets black.

In the owner’s suite, a headboard and wrap-around sofa add to the intimacy. The living room’s front partition features a hand-painted technique that imparts a scratch-like texture to add depth to the space.
