Twin Vee announces three new boat models

Florida, US-based boatbuilder Twin Vee PowerCats has introduced three new boat models for the 2024 model year, including two Twin Vee power catamarans and a new V-hull centre console model under its Aquasport brand.

Twin Vee’s second generation 400 GFX boasts enhancements said to elevate its performance and comfort

“The launch of these three new boat models signifies our relentless pursuit of innovation. We’re dedicated to meeting the evolving needs of our customers and providing them with unparalleled quality, performance and choice,” said Twin Vee PowerCats president and CEO, Joseph Visconti.

“Each model embodies our company’s dedication to pushing boundaries and exceeding expectations in craftsmanship, technology, and design. Despite the hurdles posed by the current market landscape, Twin Vee and Aquasport remain undeterred in our commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction.”

Twin Vee’s second generation 400 GFX model boasts enhancements that the company says elevate its performance and comfort. The 2024 edition boasts a range of features intended to appeal to its target saltwater offshore fishing market, including more than 450ft² of deck space, 2,500 quarts of insulated storage, a 150 gallon live well capacity, and power options up to 1,800 total horsepower for top speeds in excess of 75mph.

Also new for 2024 is a 280 GFX dual console model riding on a 9-foot 6-inch beam, allowing a wide, U-shaped lounge seating area in the bow. A refreshed helm design with a curved, tempered glass wraparound walk-through windshield are said to provide a clean, sporty look to distinguish the vessel in its class.

A new 2400 center console model added to the firm’s Aquasport line aims to attract fishing families with greater interior space than the existing 2300 model, along with fishing amenities including multiple rod holders and a large live bait well.

Established in 1996, Twin Vee manufactures 10 models of fibreglass outboard-powered catamarans from 24ft-40ft. The company announced plans in November to consolidate production of its Twin Vee and Aquasport brands into a single existing facility in Fort Pierce, Florida.
