Finnish SY firm looks to boost operations with key tie-ups

Finnish superyacht company Isola Corvus, has announced a number of new strategic sales and manufacturing partnerships. On the sales front, the firm has partnered with Swiss yacht brokerage house Ocean Independence, with Thomas Merlier and Lukas Stratmann acting as Central Agency Consultants. Isola Corvus has also formed an alliance with the Knierim Yachtbau GmbH shipyard, ”to bolster the company’s standing and amplify its capabilities in delivering unparalleled craftsmanship,” a statement from the company reads.

The Velarca 135 

The Finnish firm is also building on its existing partnership with yacht design office beiderbeck designs GmbH, the lead naval architect and designer for its Velarca 135 project.

According to a statment: ”With this expanded organisation, comprising four reputable companies, Isola Corvus is committed to establishing a robust, international, and multilingual presence. The primary objective is to elevate the standard of customer service and drive sales for their groundbreaking Velarca sailing yachts.”

Sarni Lehtonen, CEO of Isola Corvus, expressed confidence in this collaborative effort, emphasising its potential to significantly enhance the overall customer experience and provide a substantial boost to sales.

The Velarca sailing yacht is billed as a groundbreaking concept, boasting a spacious double-decker design infused with elements inspired by motoryachts. Notably, it incorporates a state-of-the-art, fully automated, boomless rig, ensuring an unparalleled level of safety and comfort during sailing. According to Isola Corvus, the unique design of the Velarca caters to the preferences of motoryacht enthusiasts, while simultaneously prioritising sustainability and reduced emissions. ”Achieving this delicate balance is made possible through the integration of existing and proven technologies,” the company stated.
