Superyacht and construction industry veteran Mark Mantione has launched Strategic Builds, a new firm applying the engineering discipline and build standards of leading shipyards to ultra-high-end homes.

The company was unveiled at a VIP evening at Nobu, Fairmont Monte Carlo, during the 35th Monaco Yacht Show.
The integrated engineering and construction firm acts as both contractor and integrator. Its collaborative Design Assist approach brings architects, designers, engineers and key vendors together early, so technical requirements, materials and fabrication details are resolved before work reaches site.
It also draws on a network of designers and suppliers familiar to shipyards, including Metrica, Winch Design, Marmor Hotavlje, Lanka Marine, Clifford Glass and VBH.

The firm also offers Strategic Estate Intelligence, a proprietary platform inspired by onboard monitoring systems. It combines a living digital twin, continuous monitoring and predictive intelligence to anticipate issues before they arise.

“Superyacht owners understand what is possible when an enormously complex project is properly integrated from the outset,” said Mantione, who has more than 30 years’ experience across superyacht and high-end residential projects. “The architecture may be entirely different, but the expectations surrounding the execution and craftsmanship should not be.”

The firm’s first project is at The Shipyards, a waterfront development in Jacksonville, Florida, for clients who own some of the world’s most significant Lürssen superyachts.
