Latest Benetti B.Now 50M superyacht with Oasis Deck launched

The fifteenth yacht in Benetti’s B.Now 50M series has touched the water for the first time. Named XWave, the yacht was sold by Burgess in 2022, with the New Build Sales and Burgess Technical Services teams supporting throughout the build and providing “full commercial and technical expertise”.

The 49.9-metre is one of nine B.Now 50M units currently in production at the Italian shipyard, a number that Massimiliano Casoni, general manager at Benetti, called a “tangible demonstration” of the model’s success.

The model has an RWD-designed exterior and is fitted with the shipyard’s trademarked Oasis Deck, which features an open swim platform complete with unfolding sea terraces that together form a 110-square-metre beach club. In a first for this model, the British studio has also been responsible for the unit’s interiors, with Amy Whitaker, lead designer for the project, describing the process as an “exciting journey.”

“The synergy we created with the clients and Benetti enabled us to develop a unique interior that acts as a canvas,” she explained, “[It is] designed to evolve over time with artwork and decorative objects.”

Other features include a swimming pool and a sundeck Jacuzzi, though the level of customisation by the owner is yet to be disclosed.

According to BOATPro, Benetti has a staggering 55 superyacht projects on order or under construction. The builds range from 34.4 metres (units from the Italian yard’s Oasis 34M series) up to the 80-metre, full-custom Project Iron Man.
