Swedish manufacturer of high-performance electric Yachts X Shore has signed its largest order to date with M Yachts, a German-based yacht agency that provides agency, chartering and consulting services. The agreement includes the delivery of 32 electric yachts to the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland), which is expected to be completed by the end of 2025.

The Yachts, which incorporate a range of X Shore designs, will be on display in the M Yachts showrooms in these markets. X Shore says this will enable customers in the region to browse, test and repair X Shore vessels locally, simplifying the customer experience from purchase to after-sales support.

According to research by management consultancy Arthur D. ittle, commissioned by X Shore, the electrification rate of the German yacht market is expected to reach around 12% by 2027. Factors contributing to this growth include the ban on internal combustion engines (ICE) on several lakes, environmental awareness, and the country’s rapid adoption of electric vehicles. Similarly, demand for sustainable alternatives is rising in Switzerland and Austria due to the ban on lakes by internal combustion engines.
