The first images of the interior of Far Niente, a 32.7-meter superyacht built by Turkish company SES Yachts, have been released following its delivery in June 2024.
Construction of the Far Niente, whose name means “nothing to do” in Italian, began in 2022. Its energy-efficient hull Design is the result of “extensive optimization” using Hoek Design’s computational fluid dynamics analysis program (CFD), which is also applied to single-propeller optimization for yachts.
Far Niente has a range of 3,750 nautical miles and a maximum speed of 11 knots. The boat is also fitted with Sleipner stabilizers for increased comfort, and is equipped with bow and stern side thrusters for increased maneuverability, and a large battery pack complements twin generator sets to reduce fuel use, reflecting an environmentally friendly philosophy.
SES Yachts’ innovation in yacht building never stops and they will soon be launching the 40m Linnea Aurora and the 26m Dark Sky. Last year, Royal Hakvoort announced that work had begun on a 45m hybrid superyacht in collaboration with Hoek Design, raising expectations that this high-tech and elegant yacht will shine in the future.
