This certification enables the British brand to open up its order\u00a0book\u00a0in anticipation of the production launch in August.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"540\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.boatshowchina.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/0716boa2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9347\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.boatshowchina.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/0716boa2.jpg 540w, https:\/\/www.boatshowchina.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/0716boa2-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Cox Marine&#8217;s 350 hp is still based on V8 architecture<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>The new 350 hp V8 is a variant of its V8 Diesel\u00a0outboard\u00a0architecture already used on other power ratings. Presented at the\u00a0Miami International Boat Show\u00a0in February 2024, the 350 V8 is the latest addition to Cox Marine&#8217;s range of Diesel\u00a0outboard\u00a0engines. Built on the robust V8 architecture, it continues the legacy of the 300 hp twin-turbo V8 unveiled by the company in 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Diesel outboards, a growing market for commercial applications<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The mission of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is to protect human health and the environment. Cox Marine&#8217;s 350 V8 diesel\u00a0outboard\u00a0complies with evolving emission standards, and meets the stringent requirements necessary to obtain this mandatory approval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A decision that Cox Marine has been waiting for, as Gavin Wesson, the company&#8217;s CEO, explains: &#8220;Obtaining EPA Tier III recognition is an important step that gives us the green light to launch production and take orders for this eagerly awaited engine.
