It\u2019s the first project to receive approval under the Alliant Energy Renewable Energy Partner tariff.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"579\" height=\"396\" src=\"https:\/\/www.boatshowchina.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/1130boa01.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7804\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.boatshowchina.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/1130boa01.png 579w, https:\/\/www.boatshowchina.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/1130boa01-300x205.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 579px) 100vw, 579px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re excited to have received regulatory approval for this project and advance our commitment to a more sustainable future,\u201d says John Buelow, Mercury Marine president. \u201cOur investment in this solar infrastructure, combined with our other solar investments, will provide clean, renewable energy and propel us toward our goal to derive 50% of our electricity usage from renewable sources by the end of 2030.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project, which is expected to be operational next spring, will include more than 12,000 solar panels generating enough electricity to power approximately 1,300 homes annually, enough to offset approximately 10% of the electricity Mercury uses on its Fond du Lac campus.
