{"id":7800,"date":"2023-12-01T09:43:15","date_gmt":"2023-12-01T01:43:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.boatshowchina.com\/?p=7800"},"modified":"2023-12-01T09:43:16","modified_gmt":"2023-12-01T01:43:16","slug":"taiga-enters-electric-pwc-race-circuit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.boatshowchina.com\/en\/latest-news\/archives\/7800","title":{"rendered":"Taiga enters electric PWC race circuit"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Montreal, Canada-based electric personal watercraft (PWC) manufacturer Taiga Motors announced this week that it has entered into a new sponsorship agreement to become the exclusive PWC supplier to the UIM E1 World Championship, the world\u2019s only all-electric powerboat racing circuit.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"580\" height=\"389\" src=\"https:\/\/www.boatshowchina.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/1201boa01.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7798\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.boatshowchina.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/1201boa01.png 580w, https:\/\/www.boatshowchina.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/1201boa01-300x201.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 580px) 100vw, 580px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>The company says that appearing at the forefront of electric boat racing will help highlight the performance and reliability of its clean technology to a worldwide audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are proud to partner with E1 in our common mission to advance sustainable on-water adventures by pioneering cutting-edge electric technologies,\u201d said Taiga Motors CEO, Sam Bruneau. \u201cWe look forwards to supporting the innovative E1 World Championship with Taiga\u2019s Orca watercraft.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first official E1 world championship race is scheduled to take place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in early February 2024.
