The Arcona 415e will also be on display.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"519\" height=\"343\" src=\"https:\/\/www.boatshowchina.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/0828boaen.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7278\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.boatshowchina.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/0828boaen.png 519w, https:\/\/www.boatshowchina.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/0828boaen-300x198.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 519px) 100vw, 519px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">The Jeppesen &amp; Pons-designed Arcona 50 is easy to handle and steer<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cOver the past month, the Arcona 50 been tested rigorously on the stretch of water between Sweden and Denmark, near the Arcona Uddevalla yard,\u201d says Arcona in a statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first test revealed just how easy the Arcona 50 is to handle and steer, the yard says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The final commissioning test took place on Friday 11 August out of Fiskeb\u00e4ckskil. On board with Arcona CEO Urban Lagn\u00e9us were Niels Jeppesen, from Jeppesen &amp; Pons yacht designers, and Simon Rosier from SE Yachts, the exclusive Arcona UK dealer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With southerly gusty winds, tacking through the narrow Swedish waters of the G\u00e5s\u00f6 Archipelago demonstrated how easy the Arcona 50 is to keep in the groove where she settles around 8kt boat speed whilst pointing 27 degrees to the apparent wind direction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cNever have I found 15 tons so easy to control,\u201d Jeppesen said. \u201cPlaying with the electrical (optional) main sheet car (recessed below the cockpit floor), in the gusty winds, to fine tune the gentle rudder feel was the icing on the cake. I believe any sailor will enjoy that feature when real sailing pleasure is the priority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201dSailing on open courses also gave me a seriously satisfying experience.
