The first superyacht from Turkish shipyard Orion Yachts, the superyacht branch of Trabzon Shipyard, has been delivered. The 44-metre new build, named Orion One, hit the water at the yard’s Yalova sheds in May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following her departure, Orion One will now spend her first season in the Mediterranean, including attending the Cannes Yachting Festival next week, where she will be on display with Fraser asking \u20ac22,000,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Red Yacht Design is responsible for the interior and exterior design of the 480GT yacht, which is characterised by a flared bow, cascading aft decks and generous lines of glazing. Naval architecture is by Alfa Marine Design, with the yacht’s construction comprising a steel hull and aluminium superstructure.<\/p>\n\n\n

“Seeing Orion One delivered is especially rewarding because we have been involved with the project from its earliest stages,” said Fatih S\u00fcrekli, managing director and co-founder of Red Yacht Design. “Creating the first yacht of a new shipyard comes with a different kind of responsibility. Together with Orion Yachts and the entire project team, we wanted to create something with a strong identity that could become the beginning of a much bigger story.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the studio, Orion One has been designed for a modern owner seeking comfort, efficiency and flexibility. She features an efficient onboard flow throughout, including a layout optimised for easy circulation between guest areas, crew operations and technical spaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are a total of five cabins on board for up to 12 guests, including a forward main deck owner\u2019s suite with a fold-down balcony, and two double cabins and two twins with Pullman options on the lower deck. Orion One’s flexible accommodation makes her suitable for both private families and use as a charter yacht.<\/p>\n\n\n

Living areas comprise a spacious main saloon, a dedicated formal dining area and panoramic “relaxation spaces”. Interior images reveal the use of light woods and a neutral colour scheme offset by aquamarine and emerald details for a warm yet modern finish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Outdoor living is also a notable feature of Orion One’s identity; she features a vast flybridge with a hot tub, an al fresco dining area and a lounge that stands as the convivial heart of the yacht. Elsewhere, a foredeck lounge is offered as a quiet sunbathing retreat, while the upper deck aft provides another dining option for entertaining.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cana G\u00f6khan, design director and co-founder of Red Yacht Design, explained: \u201cWith Orion One, we wanted the exterior and interior to feel completely connected. The yacht is confident from the outside, but once you step aboard, the atmosphere becomes calm, comfortable and very personal. That balance was important to us throughout the design process.”<\/p>\n\n\n

At the yacht’s launch in May, Cihan Sand\u0131k\u00e7\u0131o\u011flu, owner of Alfa Marine Design, said: \u201cOrion One was developed with a strong focus on dependable performance, balanced engineering and long-term usability. Her steel hull gives her the strength and confidence expected from a yacht in this category, while the overall platform supports comfort, efficiency, and ease of operation.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
