Reviva Refit, the refit brand of Turkish shipyard\u00a0Mengi Yay, has announced the relaunch of the 37.4-metre\u00a0Bering\u00a0motor yacht\u00a0B121\u00a0following the completion of an extensive refit.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n

Known as Project R16, the refit programme for B121 began in October 2025 and spanned around six months to meet her scheduled April launch date. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The refit was a structural and functional “reinvention”, according to the shipyard. The largest of the works was a two-metre hull extension, whereby the yacht was “nearly cut through” at midship to enhance operational capabilities and improve stability and seakeeping.<\/p>\n\n\n

Other major works were completed within the yacht’s beach club; once a leisure area with a sauna and gym, the space has been transformed into a garage for stowing and easy access to one large tender and two Jet Skis. Alongside this, the petrol storage area was re-engineered and certified to RINA Commercial Unrestricted Navigation class rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ceiling crane and shell door system were also modified and tested, with a new starboard-side shell door and an overhead lifting solution added to enable smooth and efficient handling of tenders and toys. Another addition was a new upper deck staircase, which has been fabricated and integrated into the superstructure and repainted accordingly. To complete the works, B121 underwent a full exterior repaint.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n

A statement from the yard read: “What began as an ambitious refit has proven to be one of the most technically demanding superyacht conversion projects undertaken in Turkey \u2014 and a testament to Mengi Yay’s engineering depth, operational flexibility and unwavering commitment to delivery. Not many yards in the world can execute a project of this nature \u2014 structural, regulatory and mechanical \u2014 under one roof, on one timeline.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delivery of the superyacht, which was first launched\u00a0in 2024\u00a0by Turkish shipyard Bering Yachts, is scheduled imminently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The relaunch comes at a busy time for the refit yard, which announced that works were also underway on the 47.9-metre motor yacht\u00a0Mirabella,\u00a0<\/em>originally delivered in 2004 by US yard\u00a0Trinity\u00a0Yachts, at the start of the year.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
