The 134.2-metre L\u00fcrssen superyacht Project Deep Blue is now embarking on her sea trials near the yard’s facilities in Bremen. Delivery is expected before November, according to BOATPro, though this is yet to be confirmed by the German yard.<\/p>\n\n\n

A highly secretive build, her exterior was only revealed to the public at her launch this summer (June 2025). The highly anticipated imagery showed off her brilliantly blue overhangs and five decks of amenities \u2013 including two pools, a heli-capable bow, a sloping mast and unconventional lower-deck glasswork.<\/p>\n\n\n

Yacht-spotters have drawn similarities between Project Deep Blue’s lines and those of Ahpo (now Lady Jorgia), with the same tapered decks on the forward part of the superstructure.<\/p>\n\n\n

Very little is known about the mammoth build. She is expected to have a gross tonnage of around 9,000GT and is one of L\u00fcrssen’s first projects to use the builder’s new slipway, which is able to accommodate much heavier loads.<\/p>\n\n\n

Other highly anticipated builds include the 102.7-metre Project Jassj, which was technically launched last year, and the yard’s first fuel-cell superyacht, Project Cosmos, which was launched earlier this month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
