Italian brand Atlante Yachts has unveiled a new 36.2-metre addition to its explorer yacht range: the Classic 36. Said to complement the existing 34.5-metre Classic 35 design, the series is based on the same, high-volume Arrabito Naval Architects hull platform and is once again penned throughout by Italian designer VYD Studio.<\/p>\n\n\n

The news follows the successful launch of Cabana, the first unit in the Atlante Classic 35 series built by Turkish yard Mengi Yay, which was designed as a modern, all-Italian interpretation of the full displacement explorer yacht. The Classic 36 builds upon this smaller 34.5-metre model with the addition of two extra metres, allowing for an aft deck lounge with infinity pool and a sundeck Jacuzzi.<\/p>\n\n\n

Other similarities between the models include a steel and aluminium build and cruising abilities, with the latter set to provide an “ocean crossing” range in excess of 4,000 nautical miles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other specs of the Classic 36 include a cruising speed of 11 knots, a maximum speed of 14 knots and a 40,000-litre fuel capacity, with power coming from twin 850hp IMO Tier III certified Volva Penta engines. She has a beam of 8.3 metres and a 2.4-metre draft.<\/p>\n\n\n

As with the previous Atlante semi-custom platforms, the Classic 36 offers flexibility for new clients: the layouts can be customised, performance-optimised and have equipment tailored to any specific requirements. The interior design on board can also be reimagined per the owners’ request, adorned by “tasteful contemporary tones” and “the highest-quality Italian materials and fabrics”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Accommodation is for 10 guests in a traditional five cabin-layout – four guest cabins on the lower deck and a full-beam master suite on the main deck forward. There are further quarters for a crew of seven.<\/p>\n\n\n

An interior volume of 338GT \u2013 noted by the yard to be “usually only available in vessels several metres longer” \u2013 allows for a broad open-plan main saloon, a large skylounge and deck spaces aplenty, from the sundeck and the upper deck al fresco lounge to the new open aft deck.<\/p>\n\n\n

The first Atlante Classic 36 is available for delivery in 2027. In other news, the brand recently unveiled a new explorer yacht model known as the Classic 42.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
