EU Stage V marine engines are designed to meet the EU\u2019s strictest emission standards. They are packed with advanced technologies to drastically reduce harmful pollutants and improve environmental performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Manufacturers like Volvo Penta, Cummins, Baudouin, and Sandfirden, offer a range of Stage V-compliant engines for use in existing diesel engines with no modifications, meaning no costly overhauls or downtime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Notice of the green light for HVO without extra certification came from Euromot, the Brussels-based European association of internal combustion engine and alternative powertrain makers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For years, European regulations were unclear if HVO needed extra certification.
