Dutch shipyard Feadship has launched the 100-metre superyacht, known only as Project 824, from its facilities in Kaag, the Netherlands.<\/p>\n\n\n

The yacht was last spotted in September 2023 when the hull and superstructure were joined, before the motor yacht made her way north through the picturesque Dutch countryside to Feadship’s Kaag facilities for outfitting. Following her launch, she is expected to undergo sea trials in the North Sea.<\/p>\n\n\n

While details on the project remain sparse, Jarkko J\u00e4msen has now been revealed as her exterior designer. This comes as no surprise, as Project 824’s plumb bow, low profile and contemporary curves share notable similarities to fellow Feadship build, 77-metre 818, also designed by J\u00e4msen. French studio Liaigre has been revealed as the project’s interior designer, yet her interiors remain secretive.<\/p>\n\n\n

Other design features include a slanted transom with a full-width staircase leading to the main deck, where there is a superyacht pool. Images from her launch also reveal rectangular cutouts on each deck’s overhang, providing more light to the decks below.<\/p>\n\n\n

She is thought to have a tender garage forward with tenders launched and recovered via a shell door, as well as unfolding balconies in the beach club.<\/p>\n\n\n

Feadship also revealed that the superyacht is equipped with a diesel-electric propulsion system with ABB pod drives for efficient, low-vibration performance. Key specs include a 13.6-metre beam and a draft of 4.1 metres.<\/p>\n\n\n

BOATPro indicates that Project 824 was ordered in 2021. She joins a fleet of 16 other Feadships currently in development, including the 88-metre Project 828, which was seen for the first time earlier this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
