Italian yard Arcadia Yachts has announced a new 24-metre model known as the A80. The yard’s first RPH (raised pilothouse) design, hull one has already been sold with plans to debut the model at the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival.<\/p>\n\n\n

The design’s key driver was to work within a LOA of 23.98 metres, allowing owners greater flexibility when mooring and cruising while complying with the “latest [environmental] regulations” regarding Mediterranean seagrass. The result is a wide-body model that favours practicality \u2013 particularly in its utilisation of storage \u2013 and fluidity of indoor-outdoor spaces. Solar panels are also heavily featured, said to “ensure a 90 per cent increase” in efficiency compared to earlier models, as well as an improved fuel consumption of 27 per cent at 15 knots.<\/p>\n\n\n

An emphasis on Mediterranean cruising (and climate) has resulted in a layout that prioritises outdoor living. For one, the sundeck features the yard’s first external helm station, backed by a mini television lounge and optional mini bar. Sheltered dining, loose furniture for sunbathing and a bow lounge with optional Bimini complete the upper deck, while the main deck provides outdoor seating and an easy-access swim platform with unfolding bulwarks. A multi-functional garage for tenders and sports equipment is also available, a feature that “can\u2019t be taken for granted on yachts this size”, according to Arcadia Yachts.<\/p>\n\n\n

Accommodation is across four lower-deck guest cabins and an owner’s quarter on the main deck, with the latter including a vanity space, en suite and walk-in wardrobe. There are further quarters for four crew, with the yard explaining that the “level of service” becomes an important consideration for owners in the 24-metre-plus bracket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other key specs include a volume of 131GT, a 1.8-metre draft and a maximum speed of 19-21 knots depending on the propulsion package.<\/p>\n\n\n

According to BOATPro, Arcadia Yachts has four superyacht projects under construction. The largest is the 35-metre Arcadia 115, which has five other units currently on the water, including Sun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
