Italian studio Mario Biferali Yacht Design has unveiled a new feature on board its 150-metre conversion concept Anthos, created in collaboration with Dutch yard Oceanco<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n

The project \u2013 which would convert a 10,630GT container ship into a private superyacht \u2013 is the first of a collection of “post-industrial” designs known as Nacht\u00ae. The new feature, known as the “Sea Garden”, reimagines the terrace as a green, fully habitable space, open to the sky as well as the superyacht’s port and starboard sides. Renderings reveal a large social area \u2013 comprising a bar, dining table and lounge \u2013 surrounded by flora walls and potted vegetation.<\/p>\n\n\n

“Here, the sea is not just a picturesque backdrop, but an integral part of the design,” explained Biferali. “The Sea Garden becomes a suspended oasis between sky and sea, where greenery and water intertwine in perfect harmony, and the scent of nature and flowers blends with the sea breeze.”<\/p>\n\n\n

Anthos is characterised by its extended main deck and “tower” structure, with the latter dedicated to the owner (with the exception of the bridge deck). The multi-level owner’s apartment spans three decks, offering 360-degree views and a private sundeck. “Super-VIP suites” are also found on board, while families with young children will benefit from the play area and media room, as well as connected kids’ and nanny cabins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
