The upcoming 15th edition of China (Shanghai) International Boat Show is to be held from April 8-11, 2010 again at Shanghai Exhibition Centre.

The perfect geographic location awards Shanghai the priority to be not only an international financial centre, a traffic hub, a city of fashion and luxury but also to be a city of history and international business. In 15 years of continuous development in and outside of Shanghai, we have been able to build up a leading platform for the boat industry in China.

For years, CIBS has been driving the increase in production, technology exchange and culture spread by forming a complete industry chain based on the exhibition. CIBS is regarded as the largest comprehensive boat show in Asia, not only by displaying all of the industrial products, but also with cultivating the maritime lifestyle and supporting academic research. CIBS is not limited to the showcase of boats, equipment and accessories, manufacturing techniques, service suppliers and other industry related products.

The 2010 World Expo will attract international attention and the city will welcome more than 70 million local and worldwide guests during a 6-month period. The marina system attached to the World Expo garden is under construction along the Huangpu River. The professional display areas within the garden can be turned into commercial use and will be open to all exhibitions in Shanghai after the World Expo. Further development of the Huangpu River scenery water system is also included in government planning. All this positive news indicates a promising future for CIBS and the China yacht industry！
